Appointments
We see our patients by appointment so as better to serve you.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.

Emergency & After Hours
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening but you feel your pet needs to be seen before we are able to get you an appointment.   When you arrive we will work you in and do our best to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
After hours emergencies should call the office and the veterinarian on call will return your call and assess the situation as to if you should take your pet to an after hours Emergency Clinic.  There are several emergency clinics in the area.

MLS Laser Therapy - New Therapy at Shenandoah Animal Hospital, INC

What is Laser Therapy?  Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to treat painful and debilitating conditions.
How does it work? Light energy enters the damaged cells and stimulates inter-cellular activity.  This reduces pain in the area and speeds recovery of the damaged cells.  Once the cells recover, the healing process is complete.

What can my pet expect during treatment?  MLS Laser Therapy is a painless treatment that lasts an average of 3 minutes.  Your pet may experience a comfortable sensation at the point of application.

What can be expected after the treatment?  Most patients see positive results in one to three treatments.  Acute conditions can subside with as few as one set of treatments.  Chronic conditions can be managed with regular monthly treatments.  And there are no known negative side effects.  Often, pain medications can be reduced or eliminated after MLS Laser Therapy treatment.
